In a recent episode of her podcast, Barely Famous, Kailyn Lowry surprised her listeners with some thrilling news – she’s expecting twins. During a conversation with TikTok sensation Allison Kuch about their adventures in Thailand, Kailyn disclosed her joyful revelation.

Kailyn Lowry, renowned for her previous role on Teen Mom 2, shared the exciting news of her twins’ impending arrival. She recounted how both she and her boyfriend, Elijah Scott, discovered they were expecting while on their vacation in Thailand. Reflecting on this remarkable coincidence, Kailyn remarked, “We were not even near each other, but what are the odds? And then I guess we both came home with permanent souvenirs.” She went on to explain that she likely became pregnant shortly before embarking on their journey, a realization that had eluded her at the time.
While on her vacation, Kailyn began noticing certain changes in her body, such as an increased appetite and a flushed complexion. However, she didn’t attribute much significance to these signs. She confessed, “I must have got pregnant right before I left and I had no idea. The reality star added, ‘My face was flushed, but I didn’t think anything of it because I was like, there’s no way. There’s no way I am [pregnant].'”
These forthcoming twins will mark Kailyn’s sixth and seventh children, and she is set to welcome them with her partner, Elijah Scott. It was only recently that Kailyn publicly confirmed the birth of her fifth child, Rio, in a podcast episode on October 13. She described the experience as “traumatizing” because it happened unexpectedly.

In addressing the rumors about why she didn’t announce her fifth child earlier, Kailyn clarified that it had nothing to do with Elijah. She stated, “It’s never been true that he wasn’t allowing me to post anything.” She explained that her choice to withhold the news was rooted in her desire to share it on her own terms, free from any contractual obligations.
Kailyn’s family has been steadily growing over the years. In addition to Rio and the twins on the way, she is also a mother to Isaac, 13, with Jo Rivera, Lincoln, 9, with Javi Marroquin, and sons Creed, 3, and Lux, 6, with Chris Lopez. While Kailyn has not disclosed the due date or the genders of her twins, it’s evident that the upcoming year holds significant developments for her and her growing family.
