Is Jennie Kim formally going to leave Black Pink?
One BLACKPINK member who has allegedly not stated clearly what her future with the group entails is Jennie Kim.
Amidst rumors that the girl group BLACKPINK was about to break up, Jennie Kim has reportedly decided not to stay in the group.
It was previously reported in July that the singer was working behind the scenes with the group’s label, YG Entertainment, to terminate her contract while simultaneously establishing her own agency.
Fans assumed that Jennie would likely continue working with the label after there were no updates regarding her independent agency; however, the 27-year-old singer gave the first indication of what she had planned.
The singer hinted at a new solo song titled “You & Me” after making a great acting debut on HBO’s The Idol.
She stated in a Harper’s Bazaar interview that her art would not be connected to the BLACKPINK brand, but would instead represent her unique identity as an artist.
