A picture of the King alongside Prince Archie and the Duke of Sussex hinted at their long-standing disagreement.

Prince Harry allegedly has a long-standing grudge against King Charles for not showing him much love when he was younger.

In addition to being the stepfather of Camilla’s grandchildren, King Charles is well-known for being a humorous grandfather to his ten grandchildren and the children of his sons, Prince Harry and Prince William.

His treatment of his sons, particularly Harry, who wrote a detailed account of his distant behavior in his memoir Spare, was not as playful as he could have been.

Body language expert Judi James said, “It could have been controversial to see Charles as a very cuddly and playful grandad and step-grandad because Harry seems to have been wounded by the lack of hugs from his father during his own childhood.” James spoke to the Daily Express.

The sole image of King Charles with Prince Archie, the 4-year-old son of Harry and Meghan Markle, that was shared on the Sussex family’s now-defunct Instagram was the subject of her reflections.

The 74-year-old monarch was shown in the picture looking tenderly at the Invictus Games mogul as he held Archie in his arms.

The expert observed, “It is terribly sad that the only photo we have of Charles with little Archie is a rather distant and formal pose at his christening.”.

While Charles watches with his hands behind his back, Harry is shown beaming with pride as he holds his new son in this typically overly formal royal christening photo.

James speculated that there might have been tension between the father and son when the picture was taken.

“It appears that there was animosity on Harry’s end at the time, and there may have been a rift between the two men,” asserted the expert. Alternatively, Charles might have taken a small step back to honor his highly involved son and grandson.
