Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian Sparks Halloween Costume Debate
Kourtney Kardashian stirred up quite a debate among her followers when she unveiled one of her Halloween looks on Friday, and it’s not the first time fans have seen it.
The expectant TV star, who is anticipating her first child with husband Travis Barker, playfully addressed her ‘feud’ with her sister Kim Kardashian by donning the iconic floral Givenchy gown Kim wore to her first Met Gala in 2013.
At that time, Kim was also pregnant with her first child, North, and her outfit ignited a discussion among fashion enthusiasts. Kourtney strikingly resembled her sister, donning the same floral print jersey dress with grommet details that fastened the long sleeves and turtleneck. She also sported perfectly matching gloves and shoes, showcased by the thigh-high split in her dress. She even styled her hair similarly to Kim, with a sleek long ponytail featuring a center parting, and nearly identical makeup, including a deep berry lip and smoky eyes.
Kourtney shared a series of photos on Instagram, captioned with “Freaky Friday,” where she posed inside her opulent home. The costume seemed to divide her followers, with some praising her while others thought she was subtly shading her sister following their on-screen disagreement over Kim’s collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana.
Kourtney wore a dress designed by the duo for her May 2022 wedding in Italy, where Kim also wed her ex-husband, Kanye West. However, Kourtney accused the Skims founder of copying her style when she later teamed up with the fashion house.

While Kourtney didn’t explicitly state if it was the exact dress Kim wore, it’s quite likely since Kim has previously mentioned storing all her clothing, and she was tagged in the photos.
The Kardashian siblings have gained a reputation for their disputes and conflicts that have played out on their Disney+ series, ‘The Kardashians.’ Nevertheless, it seems that everything is fine between them now, as Kourtney shed light on their current relationship during Kim’s recent 43rd birthday.
Paying tribute to Kim on social media, Kourtney wrote, “People think the fights they’ve seen on TV are bad; if only they got to witness the hair-pulling, nail-digging ones from early high school. The joys of sisterhood.”

Kourtney went on to share several sweet throwback photos of herself and Kim in matching outfits from over the years, captioning one of them with “Twinning since the beginning.” This captured the pair wearing matching ‘K’ jumpers and blue patterned skirts.
