Keke Palmer and Her Son Coordinated Halloween Costumes
Keke Palmer is making the most of her first Halloween with her adorable son!
The 30-year-old Big Boss star shared a series of photos on Friday, celebrating the spooky holiday with her 8-month-old son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton.
In honor of her son’s first Halloween, Keke dressed him up as scientist Henry Frankenstein, while she herself embraced the role of the bride of Frankenstein, paying homage to the classic 1935 sci-fi horror film, Bride of Frankenstein.
In the caption, the proud mother wrote, “He gave me LIFE,” referencing their roles in the iconic monster movie, where she was the scientist creating a mate for the monster.
Back in March, the Emmy winner expressed that being a mom was her “greatest gig of all.” She posted an Instagram update, sharing a heartwarming image of herself joyfully gazing at her son in a stroller against the backdrop of the New York City skyline. She wrote, “Mommy’ing is coming along if you were looking for an update. I have juggled quite a few careers but this is my greatest gig of all. Learning how to balance it all and looking forward to discovering this new person I am becoming. I will never be the same again, but if you thought I was a bad mama jamma before, you can’t imagine the greater purpose my son has given my life!”
Keke Palmer, 30, welcomed her son in February 2023 with her fitness instructor boyfriend, Darius Jackson.
In early July, Jackson, 29, faced criticism after publicly commenting on Palmer’s attire in a social media post featuring her dancing with Usher during his Las Vegas residency. He tweeted, “It’s the outfit tho… you a mom,” in response to photos of Palmer in a sheer dress at the show. He later deleted his post on X (formerly Twitter).
However, the couple seems to have mended their relationship, with Jackson featured in a slideshow during Palmer’s Big Boss Tour stop in New York City in September. They were also spotted together on Palmer’s 30th birthday in August.
Keke Palmer recently talked to PEOPLE about her need for privacy, particularly in the age of social media. She explained, “The thing with social media is that it can easily be a place where you can work, but it also blurs the line between what is work and what is real life. I can’t control how everybody’s going to take something. And also, I’m setting my own personal boundaries for what I feel like I want to share or what I want to allow others to comment on.”
While speaking on the Today with Hoda & Jenna show in late September, she chose not to discuss her relationship status but openly shared her feelings about life.
